I invoke your magic and strength

war-torn world.
Isis means throne in the ancient Egyptian language. Mother Isis is the Goddess of Magic and of funerary practices, also associated with life and death. She is often depicted breastfeeding her son, Horus and many scholars believe this image was the inspiration for the Christian image of Madonna and child.
I'm sad her name has become intertwined with the "Isis" group.
